I’m really happy to share that The Wellness Travel Expert has once again been nominated for World’s Best Wellness Travel Agency 2026 at the World Spa Awards.
This is the third year in a row we’ve been nominated, following 2024 and 2025, and it genuinely means a lot to see the business recognised alongside some of the biggest names in wellness travel.
When I first started The Wellness Travel Expert, I never wanted it to feel like just another travel business selling holidays. The goal was always to create something more personal - helping people find wellness experiences that truly fit what they need, whether that’s rest, recovery, better sleep, stress relief, longevity, or simply time to properly switch off.
Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to experience many incredible wellness destinations myself, while also helping clients discover retreats and experiences around the world - from dedicated wellness retreats and luxury medical wellness clinics to nature-focused escapes designed to help people truly reset and recharge.
What’s always mattered most to me is taking the time to properly understand the options available, both through personal experience and industry knowledge, so I can make recommendations that genuinely feel right for each individual person rather than following trends or offering generic wellness itineraries.
One of the things I love most about this industry is seeing how much wellness travel continues to evolve. More people are travelling with greater intention now. They’re looking beyond traditional luxury and prioritising experiences that support their wellbeing in a more meaningful way, whether that’s movement, mindfulness, nutrition, recovery, or simply taking time to slow down.
Personally, I think the best wellness experiences are the ones that feel supportive, realistic, and sustainable rather than extreme or overwhelming. I want all my clients to return home feeling like they truly had a break.

The World Spa Awards are considered one of the leading awards programs within the global wellness and spa industry, recognising some of the most respected names across wellness travel, luxury spas, retreats, hotels, and wellbeing brands around the world.
To be nominated again for World’s Best Wellness Travel Agency 2026 genuinely means a lot, especially as wellness travel continues to grow and evolve in such an exciting way. It’s also incredibly special to see an independent business recognised alongside some of the biggest names in the global wellness industry.
